Python 311 Release - What Happened?

The Python 3.11 release was delayed by two days due to a global DNS outage. The team decided to try and fix the problem on their own, but they needed help from others as well. They were able to get back up and running in just over an hour's time. But not all went to plan: A key that had been used for sign-off broke during production.
