"I don't think the intention is here to bore you and I didn't really feel bored, but there's a critical difference," he says. "There's this weird paradoxical effect where when you start to feel those things it's actually drawing you deeper into the experience of the movie." He adds that casting Delphine Sayrig also meant to add weight to the actions that were going on.
