He was willing to own his office he was not uncomfortable with having with bearing the authority of being the Archbishop of Milan. Charles poor male really worked to ensure that seminaries were a place that would inform men or for men for a pastoral and ministerial priesthood as much as as much as sacramental elements of their priesthood.
