The Eucharistic Prayer, the Epiclesis

Lutheran largely removed the eucharistic prayers in his liturgy because of the words of institution being buried. The epiclesis is a prayer for the coming of the holy spirit. It's really through the invocation of the spir it in prayer that these gifts now become the body and blood of christ. But there so tha, there is an eastern theology which sees the epiclesis as really the most central partholy communion.
