Some male members of SNCC felt that women in the organization had overstepped their involvement. For Angela Davis, being an activist was a full time job. When asked if she was afraid to die, she looked at it almost like an occupation hazard. She believed that the fear of dying wasn't enough to stop her. The struggle was more important than anything else so she gave her life to the struggle as so many before had already done.
