The History of the Saltwick NAB
Sedimentary rocks can tell us a story about the environment that we're in. This promontory in front of us is called Saltwick NAB and it's actually been removed by humans for industrial purposes. It's amazing brining that so much of the cliff is missing because it really shows human impact on this landscape. They were mining what's called alum here which was used to fix dyes and fabrics at the time.
