Nick was sent to Braunmoor, a prison for the criminally insane. A range of psychiatrists tried to diagnose him but all came up with bad opinions. His dad decided to call in and get eight different views on his son's condition. Nick says he felt 'numbed' that he had ruined his life by going mad. He is now trying to come to terms with what has happened since then.
