"I was never very good at selling out i was never about doing the easy painting and i found whenever i tried to sell that my skill level dropped when i realized i wasn't painting for myself," says artist. "So as you get older and keep working at it, maybe over a period of time do you like well i'll do this or I'll do this", she adds. 'You know there's so many other things that you could go go into and bring into your work' said painter on finding his market after creating art. "[Artists] who seem like they sold out didn't sell out according to some people,' he added.
