The Ideal Longevity of a Non Fiction Book
I wonder if i have a shorter attention span than most people, in the sense that I want everything to last an hour almost without exception. The ideal length for a book is 172 pages. If you're writing a work of non fiction, and you don't put your main thesis in the first chapter and your conclusions in the last chapter then you really haven't organized your book very well. But so long as amarson is kind enough to give away the first chapters of all the books that it would otherwise settle an i'm not complaining.
