Latch key kids were kids that were given the home key because parents worked, and no one was home for maybe an hour or two. So they had to go home, d get in and take care of themselves for a couple of hours before mam dad got home. A lot of parents kind of, maybe are over accommodating for maybe the guilt that they feel from having to be in the work force,. Or not always being attentive to all their kids. And so when they do have the ability to be attentive, ah, they're overly involved. As a teacher, i believe it's harmful. Am i wrong? Now, you're right. In a recent report from the national survey
