The Origins of the Goldfish

Goldfish started out really early in China. They moved to Japan, then England and France became interested in them as kind of this aesthetic piece of class. Around the turn of the 20th century, when hobbyists get ahold of them, they start to proliferate. So goldfish become this really popular thing for winning at fairs and stuff because they're easy - but also mean. And we can we kind of guilt for we touched on this at the beginning: We're kind of guilt free with a goldfish.
