Alfred marshall was trained in mathematics in the 18 sixties. Was second wrangler to lord raleigh in cambridge, member of trinity college. And trained in mathematics physics, became an economist. But his stories, his theory's wordy. Something's in the air. Children picked up, ideas are discussed. That's processy. 60 or so years later, even who's got religion, he thinks tat economics should be like theoretical physics,. and we should take out all these silly stories and just concentrate on x sub one plus x. Doesn't do it for me. I realized that we had lost something.
