Brender's organization has encountered very worrying scenes on the tobacco farms. Japan tobacco international, one of the largest tobacco companies in zambia, told us that they have a fair and sustainable relation ship with their leaf suppliers. They said they firmly opposed the use of child labor, and that their contracts make it clear that the practice is not tolerated.
