Nicholas Cage's Approach to Anchorage
The plane was coming into land at 170 knots, which is 50 knots faster than usual. The captain didn't like it and called for a go around. On this second attempt, Captain Gibson decides to start his approach from only 800 feet above the ground. He also realizes that once they touch down, they're going to have to kill the engines as well so they don't go off the end of the runway.
