Bashar Al Assad sent his wife an iTunes download of a country song by Blake Shelton. He wrote out some of the lyrics in the email, including: "I've been a walk in heartache" The only vague suggestion one gets that Bashar might have something that approaches a conscience comes from an email he sent on February 5th, 2012.
