Most of the primary advances in human society occur in and around North East Africa and the Near East. The lands of the Americas embrace the cultural advances. So did the people of the Americas start writing as well? What we discover in the Americas, with focus on what we have discovered during these last two podcasts, can potentially tell us a lot about what writing truly is.
