The Corpus Hermeticum and the Hermetic Writings

There is plenty on the universe being kind of a prison. There's plenty of badmouthing the body. I think it might be better to start with the Corpus Hermeticum and then to graduate to the discourse of the eighth and ninth, because it is a more advanced scripture. The Nog Hamari Library represents the final initiation into the level of the eighth sphere. And so the initial work of the initiate is to transcend the seven planetary energies or spheres. These are the harmony fate. Yeah, I mean, it was definitely a syncretic theology and view of the world and rooted in ancient Egypt.
