Engaging in a Dhamma Life
Buddhist culture will never be co-extensive with society as a whole, he says. But it provides people with an easy access to that spirit which makes it far more easy for them to engage and engage fully and deeply with a Dhamma life. When you have a highly articulated culture, it becomes much, much easier. Every step you take is so to speak a reminder of the Buddhist path - Buddhist symbols, Buddhist images are all around you. You see no signs of upliftment in shopping malls or any other form of consumerism today.
