Building a Relationship Is the Most Profitable Course of Action
The most valuable thing you have as a salesperson is your book of business. By building that relationship, by going back to somebody's experience later, hey, has anything changed? You're giving yourself more at-bats, more shots on the target. So Bill Clinton started this practice where every time he would talk to somebody, he kept the role of decks. And so overnight, he ended up with a nationwide campaign structure because he had kept in touch with these people.
