What Are the Opportunity Costs?
When i first started playing, i was writing it as kind of an expense for the book. And then in 20 18, when i won over 200 thousand dollars, what i really took home was much less because i'd been travelling all over the world. I had played a lot of tournaments in which i hadn't cashed. So i made, you know, much less than that, maybe somewhere like thousand,. It's still an up year. But as you correctly say, there are also opportunity costs. You know, i wasn't taking any writing assignments. I was on leave from the new yorker. The door would not have opened to me otherwise.
