In 1973, the Supreme Court decided that the 14th amendments guarantee of the right to privacy included the right to have abortions in a very difficult way. Prosecutors knew if they wanted they could come after them for practicing medicine without a license, but they decided it was more trouble than it was worth. Roe v. Wade is like complicated as a from a legal perspective, but it worked for now for good. That's the name of my little section in the script. The end of Jane.
