What Influenced You in Neuroscience?
Coree: I was inspired by a childhood accident. i fell 12 feet and landed on my face on a brick floor, broke my nose very badly. But the reason that it mattered is because the fall seemed to have taken a long time. And as i was looking down, i was thinking about alice in wonderland, and how this must have been what it was like when she fell down the rabbit hole. Coree: That inspired much of the work i did later, when i tried to understand about how we perceived time - especially if you're in a life threatening situation.
