The New Covenant Is Not Like Plan B

Paul says the new covenant is actually something that precedes the old covenant when you think of the old covenant as associated with circumcision and Mosaic law. The idea that you can be saved by faith, right? He's already there in Abraham before his circumcision. It's very different than our understanding today in our view, whatever is new is the shiny thing. That's what we want. And Paul actually is going to make this point in just a second.
