Jane Jacobs led a campaign to keep one of Moses' highways from destroying her beloved neighborhood, Greenwich Village. The Golden Gate Bridge has beautiful hills overlooking the ocean and the bay but there's nothing built on them. It's kind of remarkable because obviously it would be some of the most prime real estate in the area.
