Donald Trump Returns to CNN for a Presidential Town Hall
The union that represents American Airlines pilots said 96 percent of its 15,000 members participated in the vote. The likelihood of a walkout actually happening is pretty slim because federal law makes it hard for airline unions to do so and Congress and the president also hold the power to prevent a work stoppage from happening should it come down to it. Still, the vote is believed to give the union more bargaining power for negotiations. For their part, American Airlines believes an agreement could be reached soon.
