Django has gone through a lot of iterations in the language itself since Django first came out. But I have a couple friends who swear by Laravel and actually there's a number of things Jango can adopt from that. It's not necessarily throwing shade or bagging on PHP, it's just, this is different. You'll be used to doing it that way.
