I think part of it is also like there's a difference in just watching like more fast-paced sport like basketball versus watching chess. I find if I'm gonna watch classical chess the announcer better be amazing at making it relevant for me which puts a lot on the announcer right. Jennifer Shahadi and Maurice Ashley are two commentators who have gone too much flack for their commentating style, he says. There're always some elitists who are like but they're I don't know like complaining about their commentatingstyle yeah.
