The Importance of Morality in Hyperinflation
As the currency gets debased, what you find in society is morality also. I don't think I've ever seen people so lacking in empathy for one another. You see videos on Twitter and online of people doing things, terrible things to each other. It's actually becoming entertainment for people to go out and stream themselves doing something cruel or nasty. And it's like that related to this removal of gold from everyday life. Like how many even listening right now have maybe never even touched a gold note? Is there an attractive quality to owning gold which brings more sense into your life than wealth?
