How I Conceived the Idea of a Book

The book ended up on the USA Today Best Seller List and it's gotten really good reviews. It started with a conversation I had with my son who was a brilliant young man, a doctor in classics from Oxford. He said that you're trying to understand a philosophy instead of getting to know a person. So I put this project to myself. You start to see through his eyes a little bit,. your friends, the people you love, you start to seethrough their eyes.
