David Osment: Wind farms tend to be built on top of mountains, which is very difficult to transport to. He says turbines are designed for lower wind speed sites than a decade or two decades ago. And because they're slightly less windy, turbine manufacturers can make the really long blades that can withstand this and generate high capacity factors.
