Is There a Balance Between Art and Education?
There is only so much time in the day and so much time you can put forth an effort into learning different things. I think it's one of the other big questions, is maintaining the balance in terms of your skill set. And we don't have the luxury to not think that way, because we're not artists. The things we produce don't exist in a safe, a safe space. They don't exist just to question. They exist to also propose solutions and provide no functional answers to things. So if you are an architect, you have, by definition, you have the responsibility to not allow yourself to be overly specific.
