So eventually they will have to return to the zero bound, but that won't necessarily reignite the sort of inflation that we saw in the pandemic. Danielle DiMartino Booth is CEO and Chief Strategist for Quill Intelligence LLC, an independent research firm. She spent nine years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas where she served as Advisor to President Richard W. Fisher throughout the financial crisis until his retirement in March 2015.
