Womenist Biblical Interpretation

The Society of Biblical Literature is the largest and oldest organization that is devoted to academic biblical studies. It's pretty much a nerd fest too, that's the way I define it. At least the men wearing tweed sport coats and smoking pipes are there. What are you going to ask the L in the 70s? Pretty much in the 1970s and a lot of ways to there. There are a lot of white men in tweed, but some of us are working to change that.
