QE is coming back, but it will have to be real quantitative easing. The last not QE, QE was in September of 2019 and they had the repo facility. I don't think there has to be any sort of subterfuge necessarily. What they'll do is basically just buy treasuries. But if you look at how this is going to be funded in the US, foreigners are not going to be buying so much of the debt.
