The Peridoli of Sonora

The Peridoli of Sonora are really interesting. They're these broad-leafed shrubs that grow on volcanic rocks. Chris: It's possible that rock outcrops in that environment were a very valuable habitat to something like Peridoli or Pluro Coronas, those rock specialists. The adaptation for rock cliff dwelling would have evolved before the deserts were even there.
