A rare psychological condition called body identity integrity disorder. The patient feels distress over the fact that they have a healthy body, and they feel like they should have been disabled. It raises all sorts of questions about the limits of patient authority and physician authority. "You are moral beings trying to heal people, and that creates some value conflict," he says.
