How to Minimize Cognitive Interruptions in the Emergency Department

On any given day, I was actually more tired from these shifts than any clinical chef I ever worked. They're very, very cognitively tiring because there's so many things people can use you for in this role that free up our colleagues to be able to do their jobs. So we all know intuitively that no matter how good we think we are at handling the interruptions, they can slow us down and even contribute to medical errors.
