Are the Invisible Truths About the Universe Really Universal?

The universe is fundamentally ununderstandable, but we are putting together a sort of math atical stories that we tell ourselves as human to make sense of it. But doesn't that mean that alien scientists are coming up with completely different stories that make sense to themi en? Or is there a chance, if we ever met aliens, that we could talk science with, that we shared some sort of fundamental mental constructs about what's going on inside the universe?
