What Is a Split Infinitive?
The Oxford comma or the serial comma is optional but people who like it there really like it and they get kind of fixated on it. It's the comma before the and toward the end of a list as in for breakfast, I ate apples, comma, eggs and toast. We need a comma there in order to tell us what's that's going to be a whole list that can hold set of stuff that's coming later.
