Do You Think That the Russians Have Been Weakening the Lines in the South?
Heare fred: The russian lines have been pretty well entrenched now for months, omen since the early weeks of the russian invasion. Why did the russian lines seem to yield so quickly in the face of this onslaught? So i and my colleagues at the institute for the study of war were not surprised that this counter offensive was very successful. And we can talk about that more if you like. But the russians rightly recognize that the terrain that they hold in southern ucraine is strategically vital for ukraine and absolutely worth defending if they can.
