The Desire of Being Loved

A lot of us want to be loved because we are good, right? We love a thing because it's good, whereas God loves because he is good. He doesn't like look out on creation and see many lovable things and then respond to them by an act of love. Rather, his love goes before us, right? It's generative, it's creative. A greater affection provided that we perform adequately in this, that of the other way.
