Growth management is about valuing the contribution of each person on your team, oure waiting that contribution appropriately. You want to make sure that youre allocating bonuses fairly across people who are in superstar mode and not rock star mode. The financial reward for being in super star mode comes when they get that promotion, but it shouldn't be reflected in their bonus. It's actually very anti meritocratic, although i don't even like the word 'maritocracy'
