The Importance of Options Generation in Personal Coaching
Sally Kohn: I used to be a corporate strategy partner and it's very common when you work with clients, companies, you generate options for them. So in your work, what prompted you to introduce options generation for clients? Was there a moment when you realized clients were not doing this? How did you bring that in? She says she took the old evolutionary idea of reflexes around fight, flight, fright, and also what's called befriend. And then one which is hardly ever deployed by leaders, but which is really important is what we call don't lean.
