The Second Order Effect of Status Orientation on Workplace Romance

The younger generations have swung too far toward believing that power is the fundamental thing of relationships and it's a generational mistake. The harry potter generation or whatever you want to call it are very much toward an anti intimacy, anti love campaign against interracial relationships. We've discouraged workplace romance including between people of different levels at work so we need to make institutions that allow those things just disclose your relationship. You can date your grad student as long as you tell people that you're dating your grad student  it's fine like Whatever I know there's some downsides but by focusing only on the power aspect of relationships and not on the much more important intimacy aspect of relationships we have lost something
