The Importance of Sweden's Accession to NATO

Sweden has a very strong navy which would end up strengthening NATO's defenses in the Baltic Sea. It also builds its own fighter jets which sort of diversifies the types of fighter jets that the Alliance as a whole uses. And then lastly it's a member of the Arctic Council which in the end would allow NATO to sort of shift its focus more northwards putting pressure on Russia. All of that I'm sure when Vladimir Putin looks at that as outcomes very clear outcomes from Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Those are big setbacks for him.
