Alpha-Synuclein Amplification in Parkinson's Disease
In the lark 2 component of this cohort the identification of alpha-synuclein in this assay was not as significant. The hypothesis is that this is not necessarily test for Parkinson's per se but rather test for a typical lewy snucleinopathy and yeah I think this idea that sa assay is detecting cinecinecine pathology probably needs to be confirmed in larger autopsy series but it's very consistent with the existing evidence.
