Is There a Duty to Bring About Free Will?

i think a lot of the discussion around theodysey and around the problem of evil kind of assumes a consequentialism. If god has some kind of moral duty to bring about free will, let aythen it's not just that, well, free wills is much better than the suffering that it entails - even if the suffering is far worse. Theodosy doesn't work on saying that the evil is kind of worth the er, or the good is worth the suffering on account of balance. It aims for a particular kind of end in form by goodness, but it's not strict kind of consequentialism. God treats creatures as having a certain kind of dignity and good to share in him
