What can you learn from the guy who built the iPod?
Channels with Peter Kafka
Nest
Nest was born out of the frustration that i had going to our taho home and i couldn't regulate the temperature from afar. The thermostats were controlling half of the energy spent in your house per year, and there you don't even know how to use them. If you could save 700 or a thousand dollars, ayear on energy cost because it did the right thing, maybe you'll spend more on a thermostat, and maybe you'll love the most at nest. It's all about creating a new product for a new way of thinking.
