The Big Picture Is the Original Objective Function for Regulation
The big picture is knowing the overall problem statement objective function for the case. In a corporate strategy study, there's no objective function up front. If you're not cognizant of that overall objective function, you're not aware of the big picture. The irony of this is that a lot of studies don't have overall objective functions. You have to know what objective function you're maximizing.
