In 2009, you were promoted to be the main presenter on southeast today. What did it mean to hold that role? Well, the working for the BBC is a huge privilege and having an on-camera job where you're the anchor of a flagship news programme is a thrill. I interviewed Prime Ministers, I interviewed David Cameron, I interviewed Gordon Brown, I hosted our Brexit debate with Nigel Farage,. And so it was validation in that sense that I'd been on that journey and I'd perfected my skills.
